Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism welcomes you to our St Nicholas Christmas Market 2013. The marquee has been extended to create our new entertainment area, The Music Box, where you can take a seat and enjoy our talented singers and musicians. We also have Lisa, a new face in Kitchen Corner, to excite your taste buds who along with our other guest chefs will inspire your festive cooking. We hope you enjoy the range of wonderful stalls
Saundersfoot St Nicholas Market is organised by Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism, with thanks to:
*Pembrokeshire County Council for their support of the culinary demonstrations
*Saundersfoot Harbour Commissioners for the use of the harbour car park
* Hewden Hire, Swansea for sponsoring the generator
*Saundersfoot Pleasure Boats for sponsoring the generator fuel.

Saundersfoot St Nicholas Market will be open from 10am to 7pm on Friday December 6th; 10am-8pm on Saturday December 7th and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday December 8th
Unlimited admission throughout the three days is £2 per person, with accompanied under-12s free.
*Everyone who buys an admission wristband is given free entry into the new entertainement marquee - The Music Box as well as a ticket for the Grand Market Draw, which features goodies donated by stallholders and Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism members.
*Santa’s grotto will be open from noon to 3pm and 4pm to 7pm on the Saturday and from noon to 3pm on the Sunday (additional charge applies).
* Also available is a Falconry Display (opposite the Marquee) each day where you can handle these wonerful birds and have your photograph taken (small additional charge applies).

Demonstrations and ideas from our celebrity chefs
Lisa Fearn lives on a smallholding near Nantgaredig, Carmarthen. Lisa was inspired to start her business by watching her own children pick fruit and vegetables, then help to turn them into jams and jellies. Lisa now runs The Pumpkin Patch Kitchen and Garden, a cookery and gardening school for children, teens and adults, She has taught several thousand children and adults - to grow and cook their own food. Lisa is a regular chef on S4C's live daytime magazine show 'Prynhawn’ and a regular contributor on Radio Cymru.
Guy Morris is the founder of uChef, a small company based in Pembrokeshire. A local chef and outside events caterer with a background in teaching cookery, Guy is passionate about good food made simply. He aims to inspire confidence in the kitchen through teaching reusable skills and techniques and to encourage creative cookery.
Arno Tiesing is a top local chef who, with his wife Helen, runs Saundersfoot’s very popular The Mulberry restaurant. Arno has been a loyal supporter of the Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism’s Christmas and St David’s Markets for several years and is cooking up a surprise for us on Saturday lunchtime. Make sure you get your seat to experience a superb demonstration of Arno’s own particular favourites – many of which can be sampled at his restaurant.
The Music Box
The place to sit, listen and be entertained
Caffl is one of the newest bands to emerge on the West Wales music scene and takes its name from a local dialect word meaning ‘tangle’. The five-piece band includes four members of the Jenkins family from Wiseman’s Bridge - including talented youngsters Siriol on harp and keyboards and Talfan on saxophone, both former Urdd Eisteddfod winners. Mum Joy on fiddle, dad Eifion on Irish pipes and clarinet and Paul Sharp.
Sandalwood are a well known local versatile duo who perform at many events and establishments in and around Saundersfoot and are valued supporters of the Chamber and the local community. Keith and Lyn play popular traditional tunes and are always keen for their audiences to join in.
Tuxedo Funktion are a young, exciting, new and very talented band who burst onto the local music scene last year. The seven-piece band, with their engaging style and enthusiasm, are guaranteed to get you up on your feet to dance along to their lively music.
We are delighted that Castle School Choir are able to join us again in providing a programme of traditional Christmas Carols to welcome the arrival of Santa and Cllr Mr Bill Cleevely, the Community Council Chairman, who will be switching on the Sensory Garden Christmas Tree lights.
‘The Butch Boys’ Three talented musicians who have been providing great impromptu entertainment during the summer. These are our local entertainer ‘Butch’ (Guitar & vocals) together with two regular visitors to Saundersfoot Richard (Double bass) and Chris (Harmonica). An enjoyable evening is guaranteed.
